"Well it is on days like today. Such a beautiful course, it's in great condition. The weather is fantastic so there are scores out there to be had, you just have to make putts and kind of get dialled in with your distance control with your irons. I played a lot better on the front nine than I did on the back nine which was my front nine. A lot better striking of my irons but pleased with the days work."

"I've been looking forward to getting started as a professional for a while now. There's no better place to do it than on a links style course like this and all three courses are in fantastic condition. They're all very different, all of them put up different types of test so it's a long week. There's other courses to be played so I'm pleased with my round and will look forward to the rest of the week."

"Yes it's fantastic. Obviously my first time as a pro, I wasn't expecting much just go out there, enjoy it and just learn really what it's like to be a professional. To shoot a good score is just a bonus really."

"I'm trying to keep it the same as I do as an amateur, it's just getting used to playing with people I've watched on the TV since I was playing as a junior, Just realising that I am playing against them, not to fear playing against them and just to go out there and enjoy it. I would say that's the biggest difference and I managed to do that today."
