"The Australian security force had a meeting with the honorable Home Minister where all the chiefs of the forces concerned for security were present. On behalf of all the agencies including - the Police and Rapid Action Battalion - the minister assured that the highest level of security will be provided and if they demand it, we will provide extra security compared to what we usually provide others with."

SOUNDBITE (Bangla): Nizamuddin Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer, Bangladesh Cricket Board

"They did not exactly mention anything specific related to a militant outfit that they are concerned about - and our security agencies do not have any information like this either. Despite that, we told them to give us information if they have it. They said they are trying and will give us any information necessary as and when they get it. As you know, the Australian government released a general travel advisory towards all Australian citizens who are travelling to the subcontinent including India, Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka."
