Starting on pole position, Miguel Molina produced a virtually faultless drive in race two at the Nurburgring on Sunday.

The Spaniard surged clear at the start and was able to guide his Audi home for his maiden win.

Mercedes driver Paul di Resta finished second, 7.5 seconds further adrift with Bruno Spengler completing the podium.

Championship leader Pascal Wehrlein finished fifth on Sunday, and saw his rivals for the DTM title fail to challenge.

Edoardo Mortara was forced to retire after a collision with Timo Glock, while Mattias Ekstrom finished down in eleventh.

Wehrlein has a 37 point advantage over Mortara heading into final two races of the season at Hockenheim next month.
