"I think the cricket world has lost one of the best sports administrators the cricket world had. He was a visionary leader, a great sports administrator, contributed for more than four decades. I think he has given his life for cricket 'til the last breath. I think he thought about cricket and the development of the game, that is his immense contribution towards the game of cricket. The world will remember him as a great sports administrator. "

The legacy that he leaves for sure will be the two World Cups he brought to be held in India
