SOUNDBITE (Portuguese) Patricia Layolle, Brazilian Paralympic archer:

"In holding a kind of event like this today we hope that children might say 'Wow, I would like to play this sport.' We hope that they could choose archery but, maybe, other sports will grab their attention - not only football. That's what we want, to take children away from, maybe, a difficult situation in his or her family, or from a difficult context, to a possible career that could be 100 percent perfect for him or her, both financially and for their health. Also, he or she could bring friends and then the movement would grow."

SOUNDBITE (English) Philip Wilkinson, Rio 2016 communications officer:

"I think that the values of sport and the values of the Olympic and Paralympic Games can bring many positive benefits. And I certainly think that teamwork, friendship, and the spirit of respect of one another is something that is core to all Olympic sports. So, we certainly hope that engagement activities such as this bring those kind of positive benefits."
