At the Evian Championship, the final women's Major of 2015, Lexi Thompson of the United States and Mi Hyang Lee of Korea both produced five under par rounds of 66 to enjoy a share of the lead.

Thompson made a super start to her round, and moved to five-under-par over just four holes in a run from the 12th.

Lee, the winner of the 2014 New Zealand women's open， joined the five under par of the round inlcuded 7 birdies and just 2 bogeys .

New Zealand's Lydia Ko, ranked world number 2, made a strong start with 5 birdies, and shares 12th position.

At 18 years old, this is her last opportunity to become the youngest winner of a major tourament. She finished this competition 8th place last year.

Minjee Lee finished the day 2 shots behind the joint leaders Lexi Thompson and Mi Hyang Lee to take 6th place.
Eun Hee Ji, Gerina Piller and Pornanong Phatlum posted 67s and tie at 3rd.
