Script: SOUNDBITE: Scott Dixon, IndyCar champion (English) (on winning the season-ending race and the championship)

"Yeah, again is good. It's hard to win one, let alone multiple championships, and I think this one was very special and very sweet in the fact that it was somewhat almost unexpected to go into the last race 47 points back starting ninth, our closest rivals and competitors were starting fifth and sixth on a track that's typically quite tough to pass puts you on the back foot so I think to end the day of what was a very successful day for Team Target to move up each pit sequence we made up spots to win the race was in its own right pretty spectacular for ourselves and then to learn that we tied for the championship, won it on a countback for having the most wins during the season so it's shocking, shocking and sweet, I don't know how else to put it."

SOUNDBITE: Scott Dixon, IndyCar champion (English) (on Juan Pablo Montoya criticising his championship win)

"Yeah I think his comment the word still started with 'S' but it wasn't, I don't think anybody really had a great season it wasn't the typical story of someone having a runaway championship typically just after midway you see someone get on a bit of a streak and then someone tries to gather it back or vice-versa but for Juan in the heat of the moment your comments, it's tough right? You get out of the car and you get a microphone straight in your face and a lot of times you probably I've been in that same situation you wish you maybe didn't say those words but I can see his frustration he led from the very first race at St. Petersburg all the way until the last race and to lose on a countback has gotta be tough to swallow."

SOUNDBITE: Scott Dixon, IndyCar champion (English) (on Justin Wilson and the foundation set up in his name)

"Justin I think was very successful. He was very talented but he never got to be with a big team yet he was heading in that direction so financially it was very draining on his family and I think with the whole racing community around the world and the outreach has been unbelievable but with WilsonsChildrensFund.com is obviously where they're taking donations all the drivers have given the race-worn helmets from Sonoma's race for auction which will be on later this month on E-Bay which Graham Rahal has been a big advocate and was part of obviously the last E-Bay auction that we did in Dan Wheldon, for his family as well so, hopefully we can raise some funds for his family he has an amazing wife Julia his two beautiful girls, Jess and Jane and little brother Stefan has been amazing with his strength and was at the banquet to accept the fan favorite award as well on Justin's behalf so but it's extremely tragic and lots of love to the Wilson family."
