Script: SOUNDBITE: (English) Carlos Nuzman, President of the Rio 2016 Organising Committee (on testing Rio's waters for viral and bacterial infections):

"The health of the athletes is our number one point that we are working (on), and we work very closely with the state of government and we keep the researchers permanent, to not have any claim (of illness) during the games. And I have no doubt we will do this (at) the sailing competition in Guanabara Bay and without any problems. We had with these 300 (competitors at test events), more than 350 athletes, that without problems and a lot of them, say good words about this and was approved by the international federations. But nevertheless, I want to guarantee you that we are work(ing) every day to not have any questions, any problems."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Carlos Nuzman, President of the Rio 2016 Organising Committee (on testing Rio's waters for viral infections):

"Yes, the viral test, we will do and we will repeat this, because the most important (factor) for us is the health of the athletes. And as a former Olympian and Olympian I, I want to have everything be clear."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Carlos Nuzman, President of the Rio 2016 Organising Committee:

"We start, I cannot (be) precise exactly when, but the important (thing is) that we are doing, and we have the result, more than 320 athletes on the test event and anyone don't have a problem."

Q: "You've already started the viral testing?

    "The bacterial test, yes."

Q: "No, the viral test. When are you starting the viral test."

"We are working with our medical department and looking for this. I cannot (give a) precise (date) to you, exactly now."

Q: "But to be clear you've not started the viral testing yet?"

    "We are not starting yet."

Q: "But you are trying to come up with the perfect test at the moment?"

    "Yes."
