SuggestedLeadIn: Robshaw reflects on Cipriani omission

"Yes unfortunately for Danny (Cipriani) like the other guys, he unfortunately didn't quite make it but we're extremely pleased with the fly half options and the fullback options that we have. We've got two cracking players in both positions and it was always going to be a tough ask to be competive. I think he has put himself in a great light here and a great position in the squad but unfortunately, the guys in front of him did extremely well and have played extremely well over the last couple of years and they have continued to do it over the last x amount of weeks so we're extremely pleased with the options we have in those positions.

"We're extremely proud and pleased with the squad we have, the options we have available. A lot of guys, myself included, are going to a World Cup for the first time. a lot of guys, like Sladey (Henry Slade) who have just been capped who bring a huge amount of excitement to the squad and I think you have to look at it in terms of that. You look at the guys in the squad and how hard people like Morgs (Ben Morgan) have worked to get back and fit and get themselves back in the frame and it's tremendous to see that hunger in all the guys."
