Lydia Ko is tied for the lead with US-based Taiwanese Candie Kung heading in to the final round of the Canada Pacific Women's Open.
The Kiwi started the day two shots adrift in second but the world number two took the lead after three birdies on the front nine.
However the 18-year-old found the bunker at the par-four to drop back to 12-under.
Overnight leader Kung produced four birdies in a mixed one-under 71 to remain atop the leaderboard.
The 34-year-old is aiming to follow up her second placed finish in last week's Canadian Women's Open.
Two shots further back in third is Alison Lee.
After four top-10 results this year the American is bidding for her first LPGA Tour title.
The final round begins on Sunday when Ko will be looking to lift the trophy for the third time while Kung is striving for her first win in seven years.
