Script: Andy Murray's good form continued, as he beat hardcourt specialist Mardy Fish to ensure a place in the third round of the Cincinnati Masters.

Murray, who beat Novak Djokovic to win the Rodgers Cup at the weekend, took the opening set 6-4.

Fish, who is recently spent 18 months out of the game with a heart condition, and is set to retire this year, took the second to a tie break, but the Scot prevailed to take a straigh sets win.

Murray will now face Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in the next round and looks in good shape, ahead of The US Open.

Elsewhere Rafa Nadal was made to work hard against Jeremy Chardy, which was disrupted by bad weather.

Nadal - who has endured a patchy season - wrapped up a 6-3, 6-4 win and the 14-time Grand Slam winner will play Feliciano Lopez on Thursday.
