SuggestedLeadIn: Former champion John Daly hurled his club into the water at the PGA Championship on Friday (14th August) after hitting three balls into the hazard on his way to taking 10 at the par-three seventh at Whistling Straits.

Script: Former champion John Daly seemed to be getting along just fine at the PGA Championships, as he stayed inside the cut line,

...and then his luck ran out.

On the seventh par 3, Daly pushed his tee shot right, into Lake Michigan. He took a drop and again found the lake once more.

He dropped another, and splashed that one in as well.

In the end, he actually manage to hit the green, but despite all this, he threw his iron into the water.

Much to the luck of a little lad on a boat, who managed to fish it out.
