"I don't want to answer that question. Because it doesn't bother me.

Q - It doesn't bother you to have viruses and bacteria in the water?

"Look, we are here for the rowing. Not for...yeah, there have been issues like that but I am here for the rowing, not for the issues around it.

Q - Of course the rowers, you have no control over it anyway over your safety. Is it distracting? Do you need to keep your mind on the rowing?

"No. As I said, I'm here to race. I am not here to worry about anything else."
