After a torrid season with Manchester United, Angel di Maria has accepted a four-year deal with French champions Paris Saint-Germain,

Di Maria, capped over 60 times for his country, is expected in Paris later this week to sign a deal worth around £44.3m, after undergoing a medical exam in Doha.

United's most expensive signing endured a dismal season at Old Trafford, scoring only three Premier League goals. He endured the wrath of manager Louis Van Gaal when he failed to fly out to the United States for the club's final pre-season tour match against PSG last month.

The winger left Real Madrid last summer for just under £60m, winning two Copa del Rey, a La Liga title and having played a key part in the side that won a long-awaited Champions League trophy.

Now he'll hope for a fresh start in Paris.
