Chelsea Ladies and Notts County Ladies met at the home of English football on Saturday, both looking to win the FA Cup for the first time in their history.
It was Chelsea that came to dominate the first half, with Eniola Aluko pulling the strings at Wembley
The striker produced the match's first shot on target, testing Notts County 'keeper Carly Telford in the 35th minute.
And Aluko was in action moments later - setting up Ji So-Yun in front of an open goal to put Chelsea ahead.
Notts County found their stride in the seciond half to creat a couple of chances of their own.
But Desiree Scott's shot from outside of the penalty area deflected just wide by Gilly Flaherty.
But the Blues had little trouble holding on to their one-goal lead for the remainder of the match, and were crowned Women's FA Cup winners for the first time.
