    SOUNDBITE: (English) Paul Lawrie, Scotland:

"I played really solid. Today I hit the ball nice and straight, didn't kind of hit it offline very often - and when you play as solid as that and don't give much away - I think I was a couple under when the game finished. The wind was quite strong when we teed off, it slackened off a wee bit towards the end but I just didn't make any mistakes. Hit it pretty hard with Romain (Wattel) and he gave me a couple of holes early on and it's always going to be tough when the guy you are playing against, you know, hits it solid."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Paul Lawrie, Scotland:

"The last couple of days have been mega-busy but I knew that coming in, that that was all part of the deal. But then I knew that as soon as I got into my bed last night that that was me pretty much done. I was a normal player from this morning and got here nice and early, did a little bit of practice. Got my head around what I needed to do today and kind of did it."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) James Morrison, England:

"Yeah exactly. I mean I missed a few birdie putts in that middle part of the back nine there and hit a good couple of up and downs to keep myself going and we had a good half in birdies on the..I think it was 13 or 14 and I just played well coming in. I hit every shot I needed to hit and won 2&1."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Richie Ramsay, Scotland:

"Yeah, Shiv (Kapur) played really solid on the front side and his chipping was very steady and mine wasn't so good. I knew..I just hung in there. If I hung in there and didn't get it I would let it get away from me. I knew there were birdies to come because I didn't hole anything on the front side and the most pleasing thing is playing well under pressure. There is not a better feeling. To birdie the last two and then, obviously at the last with the local guys - or in the green - was great. Just...I can call upon that and the rest of the rounds and maybe sharpen up my game this afternoon ready for round two."
