'Australia not favourites', says Cook

  • England captain Alistair Cook previews the third Test of the Ashes against Australia, which begins on Wednesday at Edgbaston in Birmingham with the series tied at 1-1.

    SOUNDBITE: (English), Alistair Cook:

"I just want to see a wicket which is a good wicket. There is so much talk - having been involved in a few Ashes series - what everyone starts talking about. Obviously this time it is about the pitches but let's just remember the best side won the first game and the best side won the second game. I don't see any difference in this game and whichever side adjusts to the wicket well enough."

    SOUNDBITE: (English), Alistair Cook:

"The mood in the camp is fantastic and the lads have been talking about the opportunity we have ahead of ourselves now. 1-1 in an Ashes series, come to Edgbaston and a fantastic ground where if play some good cricket the crowd really get behind us and we are just as a group of players looking forward to that challenge against a very good side."
