Wednesday, July 29 2015 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Norwegian Suzann Pettersen and Stacy Lewis look ahead to the Women's British Open at Turnberry in Ayrshire, Scotland, which starts on Thursday. The American's clubs were left behind when she changed planes at Heathrow airport but a chance encounter with a baggage handler ensured their safe return.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Suzann Pettersen: (On where her game is at)

"I played last week to prepare myself for these kind of conditions and this kind of golf. I feel that sometimes it takes a little bit longer to get used to the links golf. Just seeing different shots and just seeing the same yardage. For me it was a good prep, I finished second and had a chance on Sunday (to win). Overall I feel very good about my game."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Stacy Lewis: (On losing her bags on the way to Turnberry)

"It's frustrating, but the amount that we travel it's bound to happen. It's happened before and it's probably going to happen again. Heathrow is one of those places you don't want to deal with, but it's part of the deal. Mentally, having those clubs last night I slept a lot better just knowing that I could play today and not have to worry about it."
