Australian Samantha Stosur beats Karin Knapp of Italy in three sets to win the WTA Tour's Gastein Ladies title on Sunday (26th July).

Script:

Sam Stosur rallied to defeat third-seeded Karin Knapp of Italy 3-6, 7-6 6-2 in the final of the Gastein Ladies in Austria on Sunday.

It's the second title of the season and eighth overall for the 23rd-ranked Australian, who was seeded second. 

The final was the second three-set match Knapp played on Sunday, after outlasting top-seeded Sara Errani 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 7-5 in a semi-final moved from Saturday because of rain.

The 43rd-ranked Knapp was after her second title of the season after winning in Nuremberg two Knapp won four of the first five games to take control of the opening set. 

She failed to serve out the match at 5-4 in the second set, before Stosur dominated the final set.
