The teams met last year in Gothenburg when Barcelona prevailed on penalties.

Barcelona responded and Luis Suarez again hitting the post. 

United made 11 changes moments before Jesse Lingard doubled their lead.

Rakitic then delivered for El Haddidi Munir, who too was having no such luck with the post.

However, the Catalan side eventually found a consolation through Rafinha.

But with the 90 minutes already up Adnan Januzaj rounded off a 3-1 victory for Manchester United. 

United's final pre-season game is with PSG on Thursday.
