Vissel Kobe played host to former champions Gamba Osaka in the J-League on Saturday.
Kobe had been undefeated since the start of the second stage of the competition, winning two and drawing one.
However, the visitors took the lead in the 12th minute against the run of play via their captain and Japanese international Yasuhito Endo.

It was the 16th goal of the overall season for Usami as Gamba Osaka won 2-1 and move to eight points after five matches in the second stage of the campaign, while Vissel Kobe suffered their first defeat.
