The second round of the Meijer LPGA Classic in Michigan saw Lizette Salas top the leaderboard.

Behind her World No 7 So Yeon Ryu made her move with this monster birdie at the 10th.

The Korean finishing with 3-under round to sit five shots off the lead.

Wales's Becky Morgan had a better her first round level par to move to 3-under after the second round.

Here going back-to-back birdie at 9.

Dori Carter was the co-leader with Salas after round one. However despite this fine approach at the 10th, carded a 2-over 73 to drop to 13th.

Another American Alison Lee is right up in contention after a 5-under 66. Seen here setting up a birdie at 12.

She now sits tied for the lead at 9-under.

Alongside her is Lexi Thompson. The World No 4 was 3rd at last month's PGA Championship.

Thompson nearly hit eagle at the 15th and sits at 9-under alongside Lee and Salas going into the weekend's action.
