    Irish amateur Paul Dunne, 2010 Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen and Australian Jason Day are tied for the Open lead on 12-under-par after third round on Sunday (19th July).

    High winds caused havoc at St Andrews on Saturday but normal service resumed on Sunday as the third round of the Open Championship got underway.

    Australian Marc Leishman produced an eight-under-par round of 64.

    Another player to make impressive strides was Irish amateur Paul Dunne.

    He carded a composed six-under-par round of 66 to move to 12-under-par overall - the very top of the leaderboard.

    Jordan Niebrugge enjoyed a five-under-par round of 67 to sit at nine-under-par overall.

    Padraig Harrington stormed up the leaderboard with a formidable round of 65.

    One shot ahead of him is American Jordan Spieth.

    The world number two produced a clinical round of 66, six-under-par.

    Spaniard Sergio Garcia was his also impressed with a four-under-par round of 68.

    Retief Goosen is one of a clutch of golfers also at nine-under-par.

    His compatriot Louis Oosthuizen carded his second five-under-par round of the tournament to move level with Dunne at the top of the leaderboard.

    The third player in a share of the lead Jason Day as he aims to win the first Major title of his career.

    Dustin Johnson was the overnight leader at the midway stage of the tournament, but a three-over-par round of 75 saw him slide down the leaderboard.

    He now lies five shots off the lead after a frustrating round.

    Danny Willett remains at nine-under-par, three shots off the lead, ahead of Monday's fourth and final round.
