"I came to Malawi to open a pre-school outside of Lilongwe. It was great spending time with the kids, seeing it first hand where my donations go to, visiting the partners, Action Aid Malawi, meeting the parents, caregivers, caretakers, just seeing how everything's going and I was very impressed, very happy to see the level of quality that we were able to achieve and now we're trying to build on that and create more of those kind of pre-schools as we move along. Malawi is just one of the countries that we do support, we have six others, we have one in Switzerland and five more inside Southern Africa, so it's always lovely to travel to Africa. This was my first time in Malawi and the people were just absolutely amazing."

"At the end, I am playing for titles and of course, I'm very disappointed after not winning at Wimbledon, but what I was trying to say was that everybody seems to see these big numbers, you've got to reach number eight (Wimbledon titles), you've got to reach eighteen (grand slam titles) and I feel that it sometimes gets lost a little bit that actually playing a final is also a great result. You've got to bring down the expectations, because in previous years I think the press have seen too much (Andy) Murrays, (Novak) Djokovics, (Rafa) Nadals, me, just making semis and finals a normal result, even though it is an extraordinary result to always go so deep into tournaments."

    SOUNDBITE (English) Roger Federer:

"No, I mean, what's hard is that you have got to wait a year. Until Wimbledon comes around. It's like when you miss out on the Olympics, you've got to wait four years. It's a long wait for an athlete, because we're anxious, you know? You want to play again. But in tennis, thankfully, we have a lot of highlights during the year, which makes it easier to digest a loss like that, I would think."
