So, I got a decent ball in the first innings (of the first Test) and obviously a great catch in the second innings. So confidence is very high in my game. So fingers crossed, there will be some runs out there this week (in the second Test)."

(Do you feel at home at Test level?) "Yeah, I do. I just want to try and keep playing the way I am playing. Opening the batting against these quality bowlers, you are going to get some low scores. It is about keep believing what my strengths are and keep playing the way I am playing and I am sure I will be fine."

(Has Yorkshire teammate Joe Root's stunning form surprised even you?) "No, not really. Obviously, I have seen Joe for a number of years at Yorkshire. And he is obviously playing fantastically well over the last 12 to 18 months. And fingers crossed he can keep doing it in an England shirt. And hopefully get out there with him this week and hopefully get some runs."

(What are your recollections of what happened after the Cardiff Test and the Australian team allegedly not coming to the England dressing room for a beer) "Look, it would have been nice to have had them in to share a beer. But at the end of the day, it is up to them. The door will be open, I am sure. And likewise, if we get beaten here, we will be knocking on their door with a few beers. But it is their choice, isn't it?"
