SOUNDBITE: (English), Murali Vijay, Indian batsman:

"Not really. I have been there or thereabouts in one dayers and have been the third opener for quite some time now so this is a good opportunity for me to establish myself as a one day player. I always wanted to play this format, and all three formats in fact. So it is just round the corner you know? You've just got to wait for your turn. I'm not in a hurry but when I get an opportunity I am keen to score runs for my team."

    SOUNDBITE: (English), Murali Vijay:

"A lot of variables - I don't want to think about it now because it is done and dusted. It's like for me a new beginning and I am looking forward for the opportunities coming ahead of me and I think I am batting well, that is more important. I am enjoying my cricket so whichever format doesn't matter to me as long as I am batting well."

    SOUNDBITE: (English), Murali Vijay:

"No not really, to be honest I was not playing at my best but according to the conditions we decided not to give early wickets because then the team is under a little bit more pressure to get a score and honestly we thought 260, 270 was a good score on this wicket because it was getting slower and low."

    SOUNDBITE: (English), Murali Vijay:

"Definitely because if you see the first game I got out early and there was a little bit of partnership between Ajinkya (Rahane) and Rayudu and then again we had a little bit of a collapse there - three wickets for 15 runs. So we thought rather take time and play your game so that we give an opportunity for the middle order to come and do their job."

    SOUNDBITE: (English), Murali Vijay:

"No not really. Actually, I am enjoying my game as I told before, I am not thinking too much for my sport or like to play consistently. Those things are too far for me at the moment. As long as I am enjoying my cricket and I think everything will fall in place, that's my belief."

    SOUNDBITE: (English), Murali Vijay:

"No actually not really. The meeting is going to happen in 5 or 10 minutes time, so it will be done. No questions from you!"
