SOUNDBITE (English) Angelo Mathews, Sri Lanka captain (on the need for Sri Lankan players to step up to fill the shoes of Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene):

"Yeah, it's definitely not easy and we are running into an era where we don't have Mahela and Kumar anymore with us, probably two more with Sangka, but all the others, all of us have to take responsibility and move on, as I said at the press conference, or rather the award ceremony, that no one is there forever. So, whoever comes in will have to take the responsibility. It will take a bit of time, but definitely we all have to take responsibility. But I think it was a very good game from our point of view, we fought really hard, after the first couple of days both teams were quite even and then we were put under lot of pressure. We were 30-odd for three and then rest of the batters fought really hard. I thought Jehan Mubarak and Upul Tharanga grabbed their opportunities, they played mature roles and we fought really hard to get to 376 and we never thought that we will lose from there."

SOUNDBITE (English) Angelo Mathews, Sri Lanka captain (on the Sri Lankan bowling attack):

"The seamers bowled their hearts out, hats off to them, they were brilliant right throughout the series. I thought Dhammika Prasad was brilliant, Nuwan Pradeep, Suranga Lakmal... and even Dushmantha (Dushmantha Chameera) was excellent in the last game. But I thought there was no help from the wicket, but you can't really blame the wicket when you have 376 runs to try and get them all out."
