"I think it's absolutely disgusting. I just am so shocked to think that you know he (Nick Kyrgios) went out there to play and he tanked, he did all that tanking, that's terrible, that's not a good Australian sportsperson and I do believe that Tennis Australia have done the right thing by saying that they're (Kyrgios and Bernard Tomic) not allowed to play in the Davis Cup. Look, the two of the of the best players that we've had for a long while and sure you know, you might get upset but now tennis has changed so much, I think they're getting so much money, Karl (interviewer) , and I just think that you know they're a disgrace for Australian sports men and women."

"They've (Kyrgios and Tomic) got too much money at a very early age. They've been ill-advised by their management and you know, they should be setting a better example for the younger generation of this great country of ours. If they don't like it, go back to where their fathers or their parents came from. You know, we don't need them here in this country to act like that. You know, we've got to set a very good example for the younger children that are playing all these sports and you know I can't see them wanting to be recognised when they get to my age, people won't want to talk to them."
