SOUNDBITE: (English) James Anderson (on playing the right way):

"I think the emphasis is on performing well out in the middle and showing off our talent and our skills, that's what we've got to focus on. That's what's worked well for us in the last few months. Going out into the middle and showing how talented we are as a group of players and trying to out-skill the opposition.

"I think naturally we've got aggressive players in our team. We're obviously trying to win a game of cricket. Like I said our main focus is going to be on our skills and trying to out-skill the Australians.

"Certainly the test form of the game, we've made strides in the last few months. We've definitely turned a corner, we're still not playing consistently which is why the Australians are favourites for this series. But we've definitely made steps in the right direction, continued that through the one day series against New Zealand. Hopefully we can take some of that positivity out onto the field on Wednesday.

" think all the guys have taken to Trevor (Bayliss) really well. Very laid-back guy, which I think is good for the team that we've got at the moment, and all he's going to try to do is take pressure away from us which is great."
