Bernd Wiesberger won his third European Tour title with victory at the French Open on Sunday.

The Austrian had started the day three shots off leader, Jaco van Zyl, but after rain interrupted play, he returned following the one-hour delay and birdied five of the next six holes.

Wiesberger managed a final round of 65 to finish 13 under par, three strokes ahead of playing partner James Morrison who closed with a 67, with Van Zyl further adrift after a 73.

Martin Kaymer finished a shot behind Van Zyl in fourth place after a final round of 70.

Meanwhile, Victor Dubuisson, who was hoping to become the first Frenchman to win the title since 2011 shot 75 to finish at two under par.

Twenty-nine year-old Wiesberger became the first player from his country to triumph in the event.
