-
Intro:
South Africa's Jaco van Zyl stormed into a two-shot lead at the French Open on Saturday with a third-round score of 64.
Script:
Moving day at the French Open and perfect conditions for someone to make their challenge.
And the man to do it was Jaco van Zyl, as he pulled two shots clear of the field.
Van Zyl, who is seeking his first European Tour win, emerged from a crowded leaderboard with six birdies to lead on 10 under par.
Germany's Max Kieffer, who has not missed a cut in any of his 17 European Tour events this season, also brought himself into contention with a round of 65, meaning he is two off the lead on 8 under.
After a slow start, home favourite and joint overnight leader Victor Dubuisson found some form at the turn with three birdies.
A round of 69 leaves him on six under par and with a share of fourth spot together with James Morrison and 2009 champion Martin Kaymer.
Kaymer dropped a shot at the final hole for his third consecutive 69. All are well placed ahead of the final day.
