  • Intro:

Copa America hosts Chile head into Saturday's final against Argentina with one of their best chances to finally break through and clinch a major title.

    Script:

Chile could win their first Copa America this weekend only problem is they're up against the best player in the world in an Argentina side that won their semi-final 6-1.

SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo

"We are not afraid of any team, but we do respect every other national team. We have never mentioned fear regarding any other team, only respect to all other teams"

Home support will help them in Santiago, if they can handle the pressure.

SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo

"We have a beautiful opportunity, playing at home, with our crowd, that maximizes the possibilities of playing a good match, and at the end get you closer to the cup, that is what we all want."

Indeed Chile have never won a major title, they've been runners up four times before but then many think they've never had as good a squad as now.

SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo

"We don't play to be the best national team Chile has ever had, we play to, for once, win something, a cup."

The players might look relaxed, but be in no doubt they know that a nation is holding its breath.
