Leaders Jeonbuk Motors hosted lowly Busan I Park, in the K-League Classic on Wednesday.

Busan have struggled throughout the season and currently sit second from bottom in the table.

And it didnt take long for the visitors to show why their league position is so low.

Some poor defending and failure to clear the ball eventually led to Coi Bokyung having an effort from distance.

Although his shot was comfortably saved by Lee Bumyoung.

Another patch of dismal defending three minutes later resulted in Jeonbuk taking the lead on the half-hour mark.

Moon Sangyun released Lee Dong Gook and the former Middlesborough striker entered the area and fired home from close-range.

However, the visitors found an equaliser in surprised fashion just before the break.

A neat run by Choi Kwanghee saw him find some space inside the area - and he finished nicely into the top corner to make it 1-1.

Jeonbuk were desperately unlucky not to regain the lead on the hour-mark when Leanardo excellent strike from outside the area came crashing back off the post.

The league leaders kept the pressure up for the rest of the second half, and finally got their break with just one minute remaining.

Substitute Lee Seung Yeol's cross from inside the area struck Sae Hee An's hand - and the referee had no hesitation in awarding a late penalty.

Lee Dong Gook stepped up and tucked the penalty away with a little slice of fortune.

The 2-1 win means Jeonbuk extend the gap over the second-placed Suwon Bluewings to 10 points.

While Busan remain 11th.
