Reaction from the Eden Arena in Prague on Tuesday (30th June) after Sweden won the U-21 European Championships following a penalty shootout victory over Portugal.

"Who would have thought Sweden would win the tournament? I don't think there were many but we believed from day one because it is such an amazing tournament, growing so much. There are eight teams and anything can happen and we made sure to give it a hundred per cent. From the stats, we run more than every team so that's the key point why we won the tournament."

"We were very strong mentally. We have known each other for a very long time and some of us are best friends, so we care about each other like a family. And then one key point were the fans, I think everyone could see how amazing they were during the tournament.They have given the tournament something extra and they have given us extra."

"I think one of the secrets is that we were very very well prepared. We expected this that Portugal would be fantastic and play a lot, first 20- 25 minutes but we also know that as long as the time goes, we will have a security in the behind we get space and create great chances."
