SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Lucas Barrios, Paraguay striker

"In reality, we would like to be in the final to face any team, whether Chile or Peru. We believe that the rival we will face now will be very tough, like all the others we have had. At these kinds of matches, you have a different kind of risk, where when you have a mistake, you are out. We will work to not have any mistakes in order to get to the final."

SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Nelson Haedo Valdez, Paraguay striker

"We didn't deserve to lose. Of course, Brazil is always a very tough rival. But we wanted to win since the beginning, we pushed hard, and I believe we went well to advance to the next stage."

SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Victor Caceres, Paraguay defender

"It was a very balanced match where, in my opinion, Brazil was better in first half and Paraguay in the second. And, in the penalty shootout, the luckiest team won."

SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) Filipe Luis, Brazil full back

"It's hard to win matches at the Copa America. Every team is suffering to win games. We have merits to win this game, but we didn't succeed to finalise our best chances in the end. It hurts going home, nobody expected that, but now, we have to learn and improve."

    SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) Robinho, Brazil striker

"We are used to achieving, at least, semi-finals in the Copa America. Unfortunately we didn't advance, by losing to Paraguay in a penalty shootout again. Now, we have to learn a lesson from this, evolve and understand that the World Cup qualifiers will be tough."

SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) Rodrigo Lasmar, Brazil Medical Chief

"Last Thursday, some of the players felt ill, headaches, some of them fever. This was on Thursday and dragged a little bit (until Friday). Today (Saturday), they felt better, everybody was at his (Dunga's) disposal, managing to attend training sessions these days, ready for tonight's match. But, obviously, they came from a process of physical loss over the last few days."
