Script:
Pablo Larrazabal found another gear to come from behind and clinch the BMW Open.
The world number 118 started the day five shots off the pace.
But a sparkling final-round 66 saw the 32-year-old finish one stroke ahead of Henrik Stenson and sealed the Catalan's fourth European Tour title.
Larrazabal carded six birdies, including this one on the fourth.
Then a three on the par-four 16th proved decisive in a tense finish.
World number seven Stenson piled on the pressure with an eagle on the long 11th.
But Larrazabal safely negotiated the closing holes to prevail in Munich; becoming the first Spaniard to win a European Tour event this season.
Englishman Chris Paisley began the round two shots behind overnight leader James Morrison.
The Northumberland-born golfer needed an eagle at the 18th to force a play-off but could only make par.
It wasn't enough to overtake Larrazabal, who received a kiss from his fiancé, Gala Alten, and a second BMW Open trophy.
