  • Intro:

Britain's Luke Greenbank sets a new junior world record as he wins the 200m backstroke and Joe Joyce beats Russia's Gasan Gimbatov in boxing's super heavyweight final at the European Games in Baku.

    Script:

Two more golds for Great Britain at the European Games in Baku. What about this for a dominant win in the pool in the men's 200m backstroke for Luke Greenbank, so fast it was junior world record, it is his second backstroke gold at the games. What a talent he is at 17-years-old.

In the super heavyweight boxing final Joe Joyce beat Russia's Gasan Gimbatov convincingly on points, the Russian was taken to hospital for checks after the fight but no major problems were found. Joyce has sparred with Olympic champion Anthony Joshua in the lead up to the fight.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Joe Joyce, gold medal winner, men's super heavyweight boxing, (on being inspired by Olympic champion Anthony Joshua, who he has sparred with):

"Well, I guess he's led the way. So obviously we're different people, and we've got a different path, but obviously you look for what's gone before, to improve yourself."

Joyce will now wonder if he can turn European Games gold into Olympic Games gold in Rio.
