SOUNDBITE: (English) Katie Taylor, gold medal winner, women's lightweight boxing, European Games: (on whether it was a comfortable win for her)

"It felt a little differently in there, to be honest. I felt she was causing a small bit of trouble, but I just felt a bit tired in there. My feinting wasn't what it should have been really, I should have been feinting a bit more. But I just felt a bit tired, but I managed to pull through in the end anyway, and produce a convincing performance."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Katie Taylor, gold medal winner, women's lightweight boxing, European Games:

"I think so. I think as you go on I'm as hungry now as I ever was, more hungry really, and I just want to continue to improve. I want to add to that list, and people on their way up, they want to take my place. So it's up to me to continue to improve, and it's great to just produce great performances each time and to come back with these gold medals all the time."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Michael O'Reilly, gold medal winner, men's middleweight boxing, European Games: (on beating an Azerbaijani in Azerbaijan)

"I know, it's very, very hard to do, so that's why I had to stick to what I did, and do it in style. Because if not, they would have given to him. I got the win overall, so I'm happy."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Michael O'Reilly, gold medal winner, men's middleweight boxing, European Games: (on having the local crowd against him)

"Oh, that just made me more confident. I heard the crowd cheer for him, and all his fans here, and not that many here for me - although there was a good few here for me. But that just gave me the rev to go out there and win it, and fight my heart out, and that's what I did, and I won."
