Day 13 of the Euro Games saw action from the boxing centre.

One British hope was Sandy Ryan who faced Anastasiia Beliakova in the semi-finals of the Welterweight category.

Unfortunately the 21-year-old lost on points to the Russian, and Ryan will now compete for the bronze medal.

Meanwhile the hosts Azerbaijan who sit second in the medal table - behind Russia - look good to add to their 14 golds.

Elvin Mamishzada defeating German Hamza Touba in the flyweight semi-finals.

In the men's super heavyweight (+91kg) semis, Great Britain's Joe Joyce advanced to the final after an impressive victory over France's Tony Yoka.

He will now face Russia's Gasan Gimbatov in the gold-medal bout.

Elsewhere, Ludwig Paischer here and Ashley McKenzie advanced to the last 16 of the men's judo 60kg class, following wins over Juho Reinvall and Carmine Maria Di Loreto, respectively.

Last year's junior world champion Larisa Florian beat Jaana Sundberg in the women's 52kg class.

The Games continues through into the evening with badminton and volleyball.
