SOUNDBITE: (English) Nicola Adams, Team GB boxer:

"She (Stoyka Petrova) is a top-class opponent. She's ranked highly in the world, and I never expect anything less from her. So, I knew it was going to be a tough bout."

Question: You responded well after that first round didn't you?

Adams: "Yeah, you've just got to, well I think it comes with experience really. You've just got to stay calm, stick to your game plan and listen to the coaches in the corner most importantly."

Question: What were they telling you?

Adams: "They were just saying to stay focused, keep to the game plan. I don't want to say too much, because I know I'll box her (Petrova) again, but basically to stick to the tactics, and we'll get her in the next couple of rounds."

Question: The Turkish girl next - have you fought her before?

Adams: "I'm not sure if I boxed her before. I haven't watched her yet. But now I'll be having a look at her, for the semi-finals."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Nicola Adams, Team GB boxer: (on Team GB's boxers not having a great day on Sunday)

"Oh, (it was) really important (for her to win this match). I think it's going to boost morale a lot for the next couple of guys boxing, and this evening. So I'm hoping they're going to be in good spirits seeing that I got a win today."
