"Well, as you can tell it's very difficult to get them in the hole out there. It's, you know the greens were really fast and, you know, they were rolling fairly smooth but it's still bouncing a little bit but, you know, I'm proud of the way I played and I'm most proud of my family and so I did get to hold my trophy at the end of the day which was my son."

SOUNDBITE (English): Dustin Johnson (on tying with Louis Oosthuizen for second place):

"Of course, on the last green I just talked to my brother, I'm like, 'This is exactly why I'm here, it's why I play the game of golf - I got a chance to win the U.S. Open on the last hole.' And, I mean, I was trying ... Just didn't work out."

SOUNDBITE (English): Dustin Johnson (on shooting even-par 70):

"I mean, you know, start of the week all you want is a chance to have a chance to win on the back nine on Sunday and I did that. I put myself in the position. I hit the shots I needed to hit. I just didn't get it in the hole quick enough. You know I had a lot of putts on the back nine from, you know, six feet and in that I missed and, you know, 95 - or actually all of them I thought I hit good putts on. And, you know, so it's tough but, you know, that's how it is. It's hard to get it in the hole out here and, I mean you know that start of the day but I did everything I could - I played well, I hit the ball well, I gave myself looks and, you know, just wasn't my time."
