SOUNDBITE: (English) Amber Hill, Gold Medal - Skeet Shooting:
"It's an absolutely incredible feeling to come away with gold, especially being the first European Games. It is just an amazing feeling and it has definitely not sunk in yet, but it was a really tough day yesterday. Especially a lot of tough competition as well but I just stayed focused and to come away with gold - I just can't get over it really."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Amber Hill, Gold Medal - Skeet Shooting:
"I think it (the European Games) is very different. I did the Commonwealth Games last year and unfortunately my performance wasn't as good as I had hoped, but I definitely learnt a lot from that and I think by doing that and putting it into my performance here really made the difference as well and I am just learning all the time and enjoying my time out here, and it has just been a great event."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Amber Hill, Gold Medal - Skeet Shooting:
(on the appeal of the sport to her)
"For me it is just being a bit unique. Not many people have heard about shooting. It's just something very different, especially for a 17-year-old girl to have a shotgun. Going into school with that one was a bit…everyone was a bit unsure. But it is an actual Olympic sport and I think the amount of focus and dedication you have is just like all the pother sport in the Olympics. You just need as much training and as much focus and I think it is just a great sport to be involved with and I definitely to be a bit unique as well."
