Murray and Troicki through to Queen's semis

Saturday, June 20 2015 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Top seed Andy Murray will face Viktor Troicki in the semi-finals of the Queen's Club Championships following respective victories over Gilles Muller and John Isner on Friday (19th June).

    Script:

Andy Murray remains on course for a fourth Queen's Club title after battling back from a set down to beat Gilles Muller of Luxembourg in Friday's quarter-finals.

The top seed was broken in the fourth game and then failed to convert either of two break points in the next before Muller went on to serve out the opening set with a love game, taking it 6-3.

Neither man dropped serve in the second set, but Murray dominated the resulting tiebreaker, taking it 7-2.

The Briton then broke early in the third set and eventually converted that advantage into a 3-6, 7-6 (2), 6-4 victory.

Murray, who is seeking his third title of the year, will face Viktor Troicki in Saturday's (20th June) semi-finals.

The Serbian overcame American John Isner in straight sets and didn't face a single break point in the match.

Troicki took the opening set on a tiebreaker and broke for a 5-3 lead in the second before serving out a 7-6 (5), 6-3 victory.
