  • Intro:

French Open champion Stan Wawrinka's eight-match winning streak ended at Queen's Club when Kevin Anderson edged him 7-6 (4), 7-6 (11).

It was the South African's fourth successive win over Wawrinka.

    Script:

    SOUNDBITE (English): Stan Wawrinka

"That is my day - it was tie-breaks. It has been so far some good tie-breaks since the beginning of the year so sometimes it is only not your day. I think the singles was in general a good level. I did one big mistake on the set point but that it is in general. I think he was playing really way. He was going for his shots, going for the line without really a plan. Just going and putting a lot of pressure knowing that it was only my second match. In general I think I was trying my best, trying to stay with him, trying to find, trying to get any opportunity. I had two set points in the first set. I did a great return - serve and volley really well. Then I miss the second return. But, yeah, in general you have to accept sometimes. He just played well. I was trying to find a solution but maybe didn't return great. But he was serving big."
