SOUNDBITE (English): Angelo Mathews, captain, Sri Lanka

"We can be a bit rusty but it is not an excuse. We have trained pretty hard in the last couple of months. It was a refreshing break. We had a good couple of weeks off, completely off, and then we started training with our fitness and then we went onto skill training. So it is definitely worth not having a little break to refresh ourselves. It is going to be a very tough series. We have to play very well to beat Pakistan. They are not easy, wherever you play so you have got to be on your guard all the time and you have got to give it your best shot to win against them."

SOUNDBITE (English): Angelo Mathews, captain, Sri Lanka

"They are quite used to the conditions. It is nothing much for them to get used to the conditions. We need to play well in all three departments. I think batting, bowling and fielding will also be very important, you know, grab hold of all the chances that come your way. And we will try and be clinical - that is our target. We will bowl well, bat well and field well and not worry about the result too much. If we do our processes right, I think we should be able to beat them."
