Nasty Nash once again victorious at World Toe Wrestling Championship in England.

Believe it or not, these feet are actually pretty successful.

They belong to Alan Nash or Nasty Nash as he known here at the World Toe Wrestling Championships.

He's won 11 World titles to date.

Toe wrestling was founded as a sport in 1976, when patrons at a rural English pub in Derbyshire searched for a sport that Britain would excel at.

The decision was made to invent one - and so toe wrestling was was born.

SOUNDBITE: (English), Nasty Nash, world champion:

"I just love the fact that this is the one sport that England always win at, we get hammered at everything else, we get the odd win now and again. This time you're guaranteed it's going to be an England win. Especially when I am around."

It's a bit like arm wrestling but with feet. There are two people in each bout and each is the 'best of three'.

Nasty Nash found himself in the final once more, defending his title against a man he had previously beaten in the final over a decade ago.

He out toed Michael "Grimbo" Grimmett yet again, and claimed his 12th World title.

SOUNDBITE: (English), Nasty Nash, world champion:

"Being Toe wrestling champion is great - I feel I am a bit of an ambassador for the country. I am glad I can do something for Britain, very proud to be British and come on you foreigners, bring it on see if you can get it, because you won't."

After Nash's success, a lady called Tracy Tippy Toe took the women's title.
