The latest round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup saw the bikers face a downhill track in Leogang, Austria.

French competitor Emmeline Ragot came into the Austrian leg of the World Cup in third overall and that was where she would finish in Sunday's action.

Rachel Atherton of Great Britain won last time out in Fort William, Scotland and it was more of the same from her.

The 27-year-old pipped her compatriot Tahnee Seagrave to top spot and remains in command of the overall top spot standings.

And she spoke after the race....

"It's amazing. It's pretty cool to know that you've got to go literally as fast as you can to be in with a chance (of winning)."

In the men's race, Aaron Gwin took first place after his second-placed finish in Fort William.

The USA biker edged out Australia's Connor Fearon, with another French rider, Remi Thirion, taking third.

The next race takes place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland in July.
