SOUNDBITE: (English) Wolfgang Eichler, Austrian Olympic Association press spokesman:
"As you know, she (Vanessa Sahinovic) was transported to Vienna by plane without any complications. She then was operated on the whole night, and basically for the moment the condition from the hospital, the doctors are telling us that there's no life-threatening situation, but that there is a number of broken bones, the spine is also included, and there's a lot of injuries and the long-term situation they are not able to tell at the moment."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Wolfgang Eichler, Austrian Olympic Association press spokesman: (on whether he has seen the video of the incident on the internet)
"Please understand that I don't make any comment on that. We are taking care of the athletes here. We are guaranteed, we made sure that she gets the best treatment, and I think we have definitely succeeded in this, and now the most important thing is that she gets better."
Question: How are the team?
"It's a difficult situation. You have noticed, maybe, that we had a synchronised swimming duet today competing. They were swimming for Vanessa. That was their wish, and the doctors from our team are saying that it's good for them in order to cope with the situation. It's tragic, for us it's a really sad situation, and that is now our focus - that we treat them the best way, that we get them the best assistance, with the physicians, with the doctors etc."
