SOUNDBITE: (English) Andrey Kryukov, Vice Chairman of Almaty 2022 Bid Committee (about accommodation):

"That's why I can say also the development of the local market of the hotels industry (is) for the moment almost 10 per cent (increasing) per year. We can say in the next seven years we will have plus 70 (per cent), regardless of the (Olympic) Games. Plus we have our options for the accommodation model, we have the possibility to have a lot of fan villages and a lot of new sports in 50 kilometres radius will be developed."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Andrey Kryukov, Vice Chairman of Almaty 2022 Bid Committee:

"We have money and we would like to spend it for sport. We like to bring it to the world society. This is a clear answer. He (Karim Massimov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan) is convinced we have money. It's easy to say. If you have money, you have money. If you don't have money, you don't have to say. You show your pocket, there is nothing."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Andrey Kryukov, Vice Chairman of Almaty 2022 Bid Committee:

"It's OK. It's a good presentation. It's one and a half hours, but for us it's very helpful, because you have a real chance to deliver all the necessary info to the IOC Members, even our benefits to show our city, to show our concept from the best side. You know, better one time to see than one hundred times to hear."
