"That's what happened yesterday against Novak in the second set: he couldn't control anything, he was made to suffer. And That for me is a huge feeling because it shows that my level of playing is very high and that I'm able to shake them. I'm able to shake the number one, the number two player, and to show them that I control the match, that I decide what happens. And so you can see yesterday how uncomfortable Novak was in the way he played. He was frustrated."

"For me, it's not a normal thing, it is a quite exceptional. It's a major step, it's a whole other level. Other players win Grand Slam titles so to tell myself… (looking at trophy) when you look at the names on the trophy, Nadal is there many times but when you look at those names, it's almost exclusively players that have been number one. So, it's quite exceptional for me and I need a little time to fully grasp this. "
